Physical Protection

To run our cloud services, we use the vendor’s data centres for storage of information. They run continuously and support our operations by protecting against power outage, physical intrusion and network outage. These data centres comply with industry standards of physical security.

Data security, monitoring and protection

We have put in place a wide range of security features, including but not limited to:

  • Encryption: All data traffic between your web browser and the ConnectMyApps website and service is conducted over an encrypted connection.
  • Password Protection: Your ConnectMyApps CloudManager password is encypted in such a way that not even we can decrypt it. Application credentials that we store on your behalf, such as user names and passwords, are also encrypted. We only use your credentials in order to make API requests to your apps when you run workflows. Such usage of your credentials occurs in a tightly secured process in our datacentres and is not accessible to anyone else.
  • Secure file sharing: We only accept files, for example .CSV or Excel, sent securely, not via email. Please contact us for more information on our routines for file sharing.
  • Monitoring: Our services to customers are continuously monitored, including scanning for vulnerabilities, monitoring of intrusion attempts as well as abuse detection.
  • Use of subcontractors: We use subcontractors to process personal data and may export yours or our customers data outside the EU in this regard. These subcontractors are typically vendors of cloud services, IT hosting providers or other IT service providers. When using subcontractors, we will enter into a data processing agreement (DPA) with subcontractors in order to safeguard your privacy rights and to fulfil our obligations towards our Customers. When subcontractors are located outside the EU, ConnectMyApps ensures legal grounds for such international transfers on behalf of you or our Customers, hereunder by relying on Privacy Shield (US) or using the EU Model Clauses.
